What will I pay for shipping?
For starters, all you have to do is spend more than $124 and we’ll pick up your Ground shipping (enter FREESHIP at checkout)! Otherwise, you’ll pay a FLAT FEE, depending on where the package is going and no matter how many goodies you’ve got in your order. For UPS Ground, shipping within Illinois costs $7.50, all other Midwest states cost $9.50, East Coast $10.50, and West Coast $11.50. And if you really insist on only buying one small thing, we will charge you only $5.50 in shipping for all subtotals under $26 ($6 for West Coast) and send it via USPS Priority Mail. For those in a rush, no problem: UPS 2nd Day Air is guaranteed and costs a flat fee of $25. Guaranteed UPS Next Day Air costs $35. And for our Chicago customers, you can also opt to pick up your order at one of our two stores and pay NO SHIPPING AT ALL (select Pick Up at checkout)!

How fast will my order ship from the time I checkout?
Waiting is for the birds. We’ll ship your order within 24-48 hours of your placing it. Monogrammed clothing and blankets, rugs, our handpainted letters, and some wall art require additional lead times, which are noted on the individual item pages.

How fast will my order arrive?
Standard shipments go by UPS Ground and usually take between 5 and 7 days to arrive (keep in mind that if you live in Illinois you’ll be likely to receive your goods within a day or two of shipping). You can also elect to send something UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air, both of which are guaranteed. Please note that no matter what service you choose, UPS does not deliver on weekends or major holidays.

What if something I ordered is out of stock?
Computers aren’t perfect, so occasionally, our inventory is not accurate. If you do order something that is no longer in stock, one of our salespeople will call you within 24 hours to suggest a great substitution or (of course) give you the option to cancel that item. We will not ship partial orders unless you tell us to. If we don’t reach you by phone, we’ll try email as well. If we leave you a few messages and don’t hear back from you within a week, we’ll assume you want to cancel.

Will I pay Sales Tax?
If we’re shipping your package to any state OUTSIDE of Illinois, you’re in luck: you won’t pay a dime in sales tax! Any orders whose final destination is within Illinois will be charged sales tax of 10.25%.

How can I be sure my order went through successfully?
You should receive an email confirmation shortly after placing your order. This email is generated automatically upon receipt of your order. If you do not receive an email, chances are good that you did not finalize your order (a baby’s cry or reality TV can be often distracting). Call us if there’s any doubt: 877.969.9800.

How do I check on the status of my order?
When your order has shipped and your credit card has been charged, you will receive an email with the UPS tracking number; you can use this information to track you package easily on www.ups.com. If you’re at all concerned about the whereabouts of your order, always feel free to email or call us at the shop during store hours at 877.969.9800 toll-free.

When will my credit card be charged?
We charge you only when we ship your order—and only for what ships. That means that if something was out of stock and you elected to cancel it, you don’t need to worry about getting a refund because you never paid for it in the first place. In your shipment verification email, you will see a recap of your original order: if something was cancelled off this order and did not ship, you will see a quantity of zero next to this item. All shipped items will have a quantity of one next to them, confirming that they were included in the shipment.
The one exception to this rule pertains to monogrammed or customized items requiring additional lead times. Because these items are made to your specifications, they must be pre-paid; we will charge your card when we receive your order and ship you the items as soon as the sewer or painter is finished. If you ordered additional items, we will keep them safe for you until the personalized piece is ready so that everything can ship together in one box.

Do you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?
Yes, but UPS mandates that all boxes to Hawaii and Alaska go Second Day Air. Unfortunately, this
means that these states do not qualify for our free shipping promotions.

Do you ship to Canada or anywhere outside the US?
We get numerous requests a week to ship internationally and we do appreciate your interest! Unfortunately, at the moment we cannot accommodate these requests. If you can find a willing friend or relative in the US, we’re certainly happy to ship to them and they can turn around and ship to you.

Do you ship to APO addresses or PO Boxes?
Because we ship everything with UPS, we are unfortunately beholden to their rules, and UPS currently does not deliver to APO addresses or PO Boxes.
